The most popular option of rubber safety surfacing, this is available in many colours and ideal for patch repairs or high foot traffic wear pads. We dont recommend use of wet pour as a safety surface in woodland or tree surrounded play areas as moss and algae settles very easily on the surface and becomes slippery when wet
a good alternative to wet pour and slightly less costly, however bonded mulch does not has wear properties as good as wet pour, giving a fresh nature style look, this is available in several blends and colours as well as a hybrid wet pour option for heavier foot traffic play areas.
A low cost option of impact surfacing, this is ideal for natural woodland play areas or those being surrounded by trees and vegetation as moss and algae will not settle on the moving particles. the minimum depth of bar or wood chip required in play areas is 400mm depth.
Although grass matting doesn't carry the impact properties of other safety surfaces, it is an excellent and popular option that is firstly a wear pad for grass to reduce the mud while allowing grass to grown back through.
